Crisscross Ham and Cheese Sandwich
Grill yourself a fantastic sandwich with great-tasting Hormel® Natural Choice® meat.
This recipe is recommended for
1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 slices soft whole wheat bread
1 tablespoon Di Lusso® Dijon Mustard
4 slices Hormel® Natural Choice® Smoked Deli Ham
1 slice American, Cheddar or Swiss cheese
Heat waffle iron (not Belgian type).
Spread butter on one side of each slice bread. Spread unbuttered side of 1 slice bread with mustard; top with ham, cheese and remaining slice bread, butter-side-up.
Cook sandwich in waffle iron 4 to 6 minutes or until golden and crisp. Serve with strawberry jam for dipping or spreading.
