INGREDIENTS


  • 2 pounds of lean ground beef
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • ½ bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup part skim mozzarella cheese, finely shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon HERB OX® Beef Granulnated Bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 buns, toasted
  • Marinara sauce, fresh basil leaves and mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS


  1. Prepare grill for medium heat.
  2. In large mixing bowl add ground beef and next 9 ingredients. Gently mix.
  3. Shape mixture into 8 patties. Grill 5 to 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  4. Serve in toasted buns, topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
