Jalapeño Popper Chicken Taquitos

INGREDIENTS


  • 4 (10-ounce) cans HORMEL® Premium Chicken Breast, drained
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup pickled jalapeos, coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 16 (6-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • Garnish: ranch dressing, salsa and cilantro

DIRECTIONS


Heat oven to 425°F.
In large bowl, combine chicken and next 5 ingredients.
Heat tortillas according to package directions. Sprinkle cheese down center of each tortilla, followed by 2 to 3 tablespoons of chicken mixture. Roll tortillas tightly and place on lightly greased baking sheet, seam side down. Spray with cooking spray. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tortillas are lightly browned.
Serve with toppings, if desired.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tasty and Simple! These are delicious and pretty simple to make. Would be great for a group of people, they turn out larger than you'd think and there is plenty of filling to make more taquitos than the recipe says it would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tailor to your Tastes Brilliant recipe. Add chopped Bell Peppers, Onions or whatever you fancy. I blended a cilantro/ranch dipping sauce. I prefer the baked texture and the finished product stays together very well.
