DIRECTIONS


Heat oven to 425° F.
Halve each pepper lengthwise. Remove seeds and veins from peppers.
Stuff pepper with cream cheese and wrap with 1 slice of bacon.
Bake on baking sheet for 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from taste is excellent, bacon easy to handle I had cream cheese in the fridge intended for use in another dish. Since that didnt happen, i decided upon cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos. Lo and behold, there was a scrumptious looking picture of Jalapeno Bacon Poppers right on the back of the Black Label Fully Cooked Bacon box. WINNER! It was my first time making this, so i ended up wrapping whole pieces of bacon around the pepper which caused me to use more than one box. The popper way to wrap the pepper is to cut the bacon strip in half, lay the halved slices across the top of the pepper , and then tuck the bacon under. That is how I will do it next time. Yes!! There will be a next time :)
