1970s Guaranteed Ham Ad
In the mid-1960's, Hormel introduced the "world's most nearly perfect ham". Hand-carved to this day, each ham is then inspected and guaranteed with the Curemaster's signature and an individual registration number. Advertising emphasized the guarantee which Cure 81® hams still carry today which states that if a Cure 81® ham is not satisfactory, it will be replaced.
