Readers were encouraged to request a booklet "containing toothsome recipes" which still look good today. Due to the popularity of Hormel® Dairy Brand® products, in 1910 Hormel was first company in Minneapolis - St. Paul to switch from horse-drawn carriage to a motor truck to deliver products.
