Balsamic Honey Pulled Pork Sliders
with LLOYD'S® seasoned & Shredded Pork
1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
1 (16-ounce) container LLOYD'S® Seasoned & Shredded Pork in Original BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
8 whole wheat cocktail-size buns or small round dinner rolls, split and toasted
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon cooking oil
In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; add oil and heat until both are hot. Add onions and cook and stir 10 minutes or until onions are just beginning to brown. Reduce heat to medium low and continue to cook and stir 10 to 15 minutes or until onions reach a light caramel color.
Meanwhile, prepare LLOYD'S® Seasoned Shredded Pork in Original BBQ Sauce according to package directions, except carefully stir in balsamic vinegar and honey halfway through cooking.
Fill buns with shredded pork and caramelized onions. Makes 4 servings.
