  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Di Lusso® Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 Hormel® Always Tender® Bone-In Center Cut Chops- Thin , about 1 1/4 inches thick

    Prepare grill for medium-hot coals.

    In small saucepan, heat oil. Add onion; sauté 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in maple syrup, vinegar, mustard, soy sauce and pepper; simmer gently, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

    Grill pork chops 12 to 15 minutes or until nicely browned. During last couple of minutes, brush generously with glaze, turning frequently to glaze evenly.

Notes:

  1. This maple-mustard glaze pairs perfectly with grilled pork. Add grilled winter squash or sweet potatoes to the menu and use the glaze as a finishing touch.
