In large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 7 to 10 minutes or until crisp; drain on paper towel. Chop when cool.

In bowl, beat together cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in bacon, blue cheese, chives and garlic. Spoon into 2-cup ovenproof serving dish.

Bake dip 30 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Sprinkle with almonds. Serve with sliced apples and/or French bread, if desired.
