  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
  • 8 slices Hormel® Natural Choice® Original Bacon, cooked and coarsely chopped
  • 1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups small broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • Lettuce leaves, if desired

    To make dressing, in small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, cheese, lemon juice, basil, sugar, salt and pepper.

    In large bowl, toss together remaining ingredients except lettuce. Gently mix in dressing. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors.

    Line serving platter with lettuce. Spoon salad over lettuce. Sprinkle with additional sunflower seeds and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
