  • 1 pound Black Label® Bacon, chopped
  • 4 pounds beef chuck roast, cubed
  • 2 yellow onions, chopped
  • 1 garlic bulb, minced
  • 4 jalapeño peppers, minced
  • 1/2 cup chili powder
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Hormel® Chili With Beans
  • 1 (15-ounce) can chili beans in medium sauce
  • 2 (14.75-ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (26-ounce) can peeled whole tomatoes, undrained
  • Juice of 1 lime
Instructions

    In large skillet, cook bacon until browned; reserve drippings. Brown beef roast in drippings. Add onions, garlic and jalapeños; sauté. Add chili powder.

    In large pot, combine bacon mixture, chili, beans, broth and water. Stir in tomatoes and lime juice. Cook 5 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
