In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook, stirring frequently, 3 to 4 minutes or until browned. Add hash, barbecue sauce, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring frequently, 7 to 9 minutes longer or until hot. Season with salt and pepper.

Divide hash mixture evenly among buns. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
