In large skillet, cook hash and onion over medium heat, stirring, 5 to 7 minutes or until onion is softened. Stir in barbecue sauce, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce; cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 6 minutes longer or until hot. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve hash mixture on buns; top with cheese. Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
