  • 1 (4.5-ounce) package instant brown and wild rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 (16-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (5-ounce) can Hormel® Chunk Turkey, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Instructions

    Prepare rice according to package directions, reserving seasoning packet.

    In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion and celery; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in reserved seasoning packet, rice, beans, turkey, thyme and hot sauce. Cook until heated thoroughly.
