Chicken Salad Sandwiches

 

Share the taste of summer any time of the year when you make these delicious sandwiches.

TOTAL TIME: More than 1 hour

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 (10-ounce) can HORMEL® Premium Chicken Breast, drained
  • cup red seedless grapes, cut in half
  • ¼ cup finely sliced celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons golden raisins
  • cup reduced-fat salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons sliced natural almonds
  • 3 leaves lettuce
  • 6 slices multigrain bread, lightly toasted

DIRECTIONS


1. In large bowl, combine chicken, grapes, celery, onion, cranberries, raisins and dressing. Stir until well combined. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour.
2. Stir almonds into chilled chicken mixture.
3. Place 1 leaf lettuce on each of 3 slices toast. Top evenly with chicken salad. Cover with remaining slices toast.

NOTES:
For extra spice, add 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon to this chicken salad.
