Citrus Lo Mein

 

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated linguine
  • 1 tablespoon HOUSE OF TSANG®  Stir-Fry Oil
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped bok choy
  • 1 ½ cups thinly sliced assorted bell peppers (such as green, red, yellow and orange)
  • ½ cup peapods, diagonally sliced in half
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup HOUSE OF TSANG® SZECHUAN SPICY™ Stir Fry Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 (11-ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • ⅓ cup honey-roasted almonds, coarsely chopped, if desired

DIRECTIONS


1. Cook linguine according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in wok or large skillet, heat oil. Add bok choy, bell peppers and peapods. Stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes or until bok choy is crisp and tender.
2. In small bowl, whisk together orange juice, stir-fry sauce and soy sauce. Add linguine and orange juice mixture to wok. Stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until linguine is coated with sauce and heated thoroughly.
3. Remove lo mein from heat. Gently stir in mandarin oranges. Sprinkle with almonds, if desired.
 
 
 
 
  Close
