Italian-Style Pork French Dips

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 (32-ounce) package HORMEL® Italian Seasoned Pork Roast
  • 1 medium yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (12-ounce) jar mild banana pepper rings, drained
  • 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained and sliced
  • 2 loaves French bread, sliced in half horizontally
  • 12 slices Provolone cheese
  • Olive oil

DIRECTIONS


1. Place roast, onion, banana peppers and roasted red peppers in slow cooker. Cook according to package directions.
2. When meat is tender, discard juices and shred meat. Brush French bread with olive oil and lightly toast under broiler. Place Provolone cheese on the bottom half of each loaf of bread.
3. Top with shredded meat mixture, onions and peppers. Cut each French loaf into sandwich sections and serve.
