INGREDIENTS
¾ cup flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
Dash paprika
Dash cayenne pepper
Dash black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small chunks
½ cup grated white Cheddar cheese
¼ cup HORMEL® Pepperoni, minced
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon water
Heat oven to 400°F.
In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt. Using pastry cutter or fork, work mixture until crumbly.
Add butter and work until the mixture becomes the size of small peas.
Add cheese, pepperoni, egg yolk and, if necessary, water and mix until doughy, using your hands to shape into ball.
Flour silicone mat or piece of parchment paper. Flatten dough into disk.
Flour the top of disk lightly and roll dough into an oblong shape about ⅛-inch thick.
With pizza cutter, cut thin 8 inch long sticks about ¼-inch wide. Carefully place on baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or piece of parchment paper allowing ½-inch between each stick.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
