Honey Apple Pork Tenderloin
Honey Apple Pork Tenderloin
INGREDIENTS
3 Granny Smith apples, cored and thickly sliced
1 package HORMEL® Original Pork Tenderloin
1 tablespoon brown sugar
¼ cup butter
2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves
3 sprigs fresh rosemary
¼ cup honey
DIRECTIONS
Put all but 5 to 6 slices of apple in bottom of slow cooker.
Make 5 to 6 slices in the pork tenderloin and wedge the remaining apple slices in the pork.
Place the pork in slow cooker on top of apples slices.
Add brown sugar, butter, herbs and honey over the other ingredients in slow cooker.
Slow cook on low for 4 ½ to 6 hours.
To serve, remove tenderloin from cooker and slice on cutting board
Use cooked apples as side/garnish
