Ingredients

1 (14.1- ounce) refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on package
¼ cup pizza sauce
½ cup HORMEL® Pepperoni
½ cup shredded mozzarella
1 egg, beaten
Green food coloring, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. On work surface, unroll pie crusts. Use a rolling pin to enlarge diameter by 1-inch. Using a 6-inch diameter bowl turned upside down, cut around rim of bowl with a paring knife to create 3 circles from each pie crust.

  3. On one side of each crust round, place 2 teaspoons pizza sauce. Layer with 1 tablespoon cheese, and 3 pepperoni slices. Fold crust over filling, pressing together. Using a paring knife, cut out tail, spikes and head to create a dinosaur shape. Place on prepared baking sheet. Tuck 2 leftover triangle-shaped cuts under each dinosaur for feet.

  4. Press edges with fork to seal. Press an indentation in each head to create eye.

  5. In small bowl, combine egg with food coloring. Brush each shape with egg mixture. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden.
