Crafted pizza dough folded into the shape of a star, filled with gooey mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce and zesty HORMEL® Pepperoni, perfectly arranged to create a visual and taste sensation. Ingredients
| 8 | ounces pizza dough, at room temperature |
| 1½ | cups cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided |
| ¼ | cup pizza sauce |
| 10 | slices HORMEL® Pepperoni slices |
Directions
Heat oven to 475° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lightly dust workspace with flour. Roll out pizza dough to 12- inch circle. Transfer to prepared sheet.
Make 5 (3-inch long) cuts in dough.
Top each cut section with 1 to 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella. Lift each corner and fold the edges, making them look like tip of a star.
Spread pizza sauce in middle of star. Top with remaining cheese and pepperoni.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden brown.
