
Ingredients
½ | cup vanilla ice cream |
1 | cup HORMEL® cinnamon apples |
⅜ | (17.3-ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions |
1 | teaspoon butter, melted |
1 | teaspoon course sugar |
Directions
Heat oven to 375°F. Grease baking sheet.
Spoon ice cream into small bowl; place on counter or in refrigerator to melt. Drain apples; reserve 2 tablespoons of sauce. Add to melted ice cream; stir. Refrigerate until ready to use. Cut two 5½-inch circles from pastry half. Place pastry rounds on baking sheet. Spoon apples into center of pastry leaving ½-inch border around edge. Fold border edge over onto apples. Brush pastry with butter; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Serve with reserved ice cream sauce
