Bacon Hot Sauce

INGREDIENTS


  • 4 slices HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Lower Sodium Bacon Made With Sea Salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

DIRECTIONS


  1. Cook bacon according to package directions, reserving 1 tablespoon bacon drippings; cool and finely chop.
  2. In small saucepan, heat drippings over medium heat.
  3. Cook garlic in bacon drippings 2 minutes or until fragrant.
  4. Stir in hot sauce and remaining ingredients.
  5. Cook 2 to 3 minutes. Store in refrigerator, covered until ready to use.
