Glazed Meatloaf combines the comforting flavors of ground beef, onion, and cracker crumbs. The flavor is made even richer with the addition of HERB-OX® Beef Bouillon. Topped with a sweet and tangy glaze, this meatloaf is a classic dish that will leave you craving for more.

1 | teaspoon HERB-OX® Beef Bouillon Granules or 1 HERB-OX® Beef Bouillon Cube |
¼ | cup hot water |
1½ | pounds ground beef |
¾ | coarse cracker crumbs |
½ | cup chopped onion |
⅓ | ketchup |
1 | egg |
½ | teaspoon garlic powder |
¼ | teaspoon pepper |
Glaze | |
---|---|
⅓ | cup ketchup |
⅓ | cup brown sugar |
Directions
For the Meatloaf
Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, dissolve beef bouillon in hot water. Add remaining meatloaf ingredients; mix well. Spoon mixture into ungreased 8×4-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until beef is thoroughly cooked in center and meat thermometer reaches 160°F.
For the Glaze
In small bowl, combine glaze ingredients. Brush top of meatloaf with glaze. Bake 10 minutes longer or until glaze is set. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing
