1 (6-ounce) package HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Canadian Bacon, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium-size red onion, chopped
1 medium-size sweet potato, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes
2 medium turnips, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes
1 pound small fresh Brussels sprouts, quartered
2 garlic cloves, sliced


  1. Heat oil in 12-inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add bacon, turning occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove bacon.

  2. Cook onions and sweet potatoes in hot oil, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add turnips, Brussels sprouts and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, 8 minutes.

  3. Stir in bacon; add salt and pepper to taste.
