Ingredients

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1 cup HORMEL® Pepperoni, cut into triangle shapes
Marinara sauce, warmed for serving

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Cut thawed bread dough in half. Set one half bread dough aside.

  3. For the legs: Cut 2 slices each about 1-inch thick from one half. Roll each slice into a log about 4-inches long. Lay logs crosswise on one side of prepared baking sheet. For the head: Cut off about 2 inches of dough. Set aside.

  4. For the body and tail: Form a body with the remaining dough half with one end thicker than the other. Pull the narrow end to a point to make a tail. Place the body on top of the legs. Butt the head up against the thicker part of the body. Curve the legs forward slightly.

  5. With scissors, snip small cuts in the front of the dinosaur’s feet to make claws. Make snips in rows all down the back and the head of the dinosaur to insert the pepperoni triangles creating horns, spines, plates and blades of the dinosaur. Repeat with reserved bread dough half to create 2 dinosaurs.

  6. Spray dinosaurs with cooking spray, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until puffed, about 30 to 45 minutes. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until risen and golden brown.

  7. Serve warm or at room temperature with marinara sauce.
