With just a few simple steps, you can have a delicious meal in no time. After 15 minutes in a citrus marinade, simply add VALLEY FRESH® chicken to a wok and stir fry with your favorite veggies and serve over hot rice.
Ingredients
½ | cup prepared citrus marinade |
1 | (10-ounce) can VALLEY FRESH® 100% Natural* White Chicken, drained |
2 | teaspoons vegetable oil |
2 | cups fresh stir-fry vegetables (such as onions, peppers and pea pods) |
Brown rice, cooked according to package directions | |
Grated orange peel, for garnish |
Directions
In large plastic food storage bag, combine marinade with chicken. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet or wok. Add vegetables and stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add chicken with sauce to vegetables and heat until warmed through, about 2 minutes.
Serve over brown rice and garnish with grated orange peel.
