2 pounds lean ground beef
½ red onion, diced
½ bell pepper, diced
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1 cup part skim mozzarella cheese, finely shredded
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon HERB OX® Beef Granulated Bouillon
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 large egg
8 buns, toasted
Marinara sauce, fresh basil leaves and mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Prepare grill for medium heat.

  2. In large mixing bowl add ground beef and next 9 ingredients. Gently mix.

  3. Shape mixture into 8 patties. Grill 5 to 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.

  4. Serve in toasted buns, topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
