Ingredients

2 servings

4 ounces linguine
1 (12-ounce) package HORMEL® SQUARE TABLE® Flame Seared Chicken Thighs, sliced
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
3 tablespoons butter
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
4 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 green onion, chopped
¼ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon lemon pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
teaspoon garlic powder
teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil. Add pasta. Cook until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup cooking water. Drain.

  2. Sprinkle chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.

  3. In large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add peppers, mushrooms, and green onion. Cook, stirring, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in seasoned chicken slices, cream, basil, lemon pepper, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Heat through. Add cooked pasta, tossing to heat. Use reserved pasta cooking water a little at a time to loosen if necessary.

  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
