Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Control Issue When I opened the can of Roast Beef hash it had a very wet look, but I put it in the pan and started to heat it on medium heat. Within a couple of minutes, the pan was full of what would appear to be fat, this did not appear normal so I fixed something else for breakfast. I decided to report the problem and noticed that I was not the only one that has reported this issue which points to a Quality Control Problem. Stamp on can is hard to read, but here is my best guess. RBH BEST BUY MAR 2019 EST1994 B03306-E3 12:59 EST1994 COULD BE 199W/199V

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed Ingrediants As a child and young man, I was able to cook this product into round, crispy rolls (much the same as a small hamburger), cut nicely from the ingredients in the can after you had left it in the refrigerator overnight. I now find that this is absolutely impossible to keep in single pieces, as too much water has been added to the product and it falls completely in a pan into a scattered mess. It is no wonder that your new recipes call for never making it this way again. It is also far too expensive at $4.29 per can to ever buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Something has changed I've been eating this brand since I was a child and have always loved the taste and the firm, slice-able texture which allowed it to be fried like a patty. However, something has changed in the past year or so, as the last few cans I have purchased have had the consistency of a soup. This is not the same product I remember eating after all of these years. Very disappointed with whatever changes were recently made to this product. Will not be purchasing again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Roast Beef Hash Soup Used to be a favorite of our family 20 years or so years ago. Nice firm combination of roast beef and potatoes you could spoon out of the pot you heated on to your pate with other selected veggies for a meal. Now it is so runny you have to serve it in a separate side bowl besause it is now the consistency of a thick soup. Very disappointing. Also, maybe it me, but the flavor does not seem to be the same and the taste was a disappointment also....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Enjoyed Mary Kitchen Roast Beef Hash for years I have noticed for the last few months (at least 4-6 month) it seems there has been a steady increase in the amount of grease and thus the consistence is lots more soupy. I have enjoyed this hash for many years (I introduced my wife to the product 46 years ago) and I understand that over time changes have to be made but I don't think more grease should be part of that change. I used to be able to slice the contents because of the firmness but now it just pours out really sloppy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What have you done to ruin this once-wonderful dis Since the Hormel banner has adorned Mary Kitchen Roast Beef Hash the only perceptible change has been the price, which has escalated at a rate not unlike an epi-pen. But you've changed something. And what ever it is, it's significant. Both the flavor and texture is totally dissimilar to the original jewel. Change it back and let me know. Until I hear that it's been corrected, I cannot, in good conscious expend any further discretionary grocery budget on this garbage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So much grease! I will not buy this again. I used to buy this as a less greasy version of corned beef hash. I had to soak up the grease with a paper towel. I will not buy this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It changed I used to have to spoon the hash out of the can and into the skillet but was surprised at how it just ran out of the can into a big goopy messing the skillet this time. Way too watery and you can't get it crisp at all anymore.
