Ingredients

XL Everything Bagel
3 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed but still cold
2 tablespoons baking soda
3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Pizza
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
6 hot dogs, sliced into ¼-inch rounds
1 (15-ounce) can HORMEL® Chili with Beans, heated
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
Ketchup, mustard and pickles, if desired

Directions

For the XL Everything Bagel

  1. Combine 3 loaves together into round ball. Put fingers through center of the ball and stretch to form a large hole, creating a 12-inch bagel.

  2. Place bagel on large baking sheet sprayed with non-stick baking spray. Cover with plastic wrap sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Let rise 40 to 60 minutes.

  3. Heat oven to 375°F. In large roasting pan, bring 6 inches of water to a boil. Add baking soda. Slip bagel into gently boiling water. Boil 1 minute, using a spoon to ladle liquid over top. Remove with 2 spatulas to baking sheet, draining water from pan.

  4. Sprinkle with bagel seasoning. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. Split.

For the Pizza

  1. Spray 2 large baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray. Place ½ bagel on each sheet cut side up. In small bowl, mix oil and garlic; drizzle over cut sides of bagel halves. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

  2. Top toasted bagel halves with hot dog slices, warm chili, chopped onions and cheese. Bake 10 to 12 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve with ketchup, mustard and pickles, if desired.
