Arizona Chili Cheese Dog Chimichangas

INGREDIENTS


4 cups vegetable oil
1 (15-ounce) HORMEL® Chili no Beans                                                       
8 burrito-sized tortillas
8 hot dogs
8 tablespoons chopped onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Suggested toppings: guacamole, nacho jalapeños, chopped tomato

DIRECTIONS


In large saucepan, heat oil to 375°F.
Spoon 2 tablespoons chili down center of 1 tortilla. Top with 1 hot dog, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon onion and ¼ cup cheese. Fold up bottom, top and sides of tortilla; secure with wooden picks, if needed. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Working in batches, place chimichangas seam-side-down in hot oil. Fry 3 to 5 minutes, turning once until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towel lined tray. Serve with suggested toppings.
