Ingredients
3 | cups bread or all-purpose flour |
¼ | cup granulated sugar |
1 | tablespoon baking powder |
1 | teaspoon salt |
12 | ounces beer |
1 | cup shredded Cheddar cheese |
2 | tablespoons diced green chilies |
2 | teaspoons dried parsley |
4 | tablespoons butter, melted |
Directions
Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour in beer and mix until just incorporated. Add cheese, chilies, and parsley. Stir to combine.
Spread batter evenly in prepared loaf pan. Pour melted butter over the top of dough.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and the top is browned.
Let cool in pan 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
