2 | pounds lean ground beef |
½ | red onion, diced |
½ | bell pepper, diced |
1 | tablespoon garlic, chopped |
1 | cup part skim mozzarella cheese, finely shredded |
1 | tablespoon Italian seasoning |
1 | teaspoon onion powder |
1 | tablespoon HERB OX® Beef Granulated Bouillon |
1 | teaspoon black pepper |
1 | large egg |
8 | buns, toasted |
Marinara sauce, fresh basil leaves and mozzarella cheese |
Directions
Prepare grill for medium heat.
In large mixing bowl add ground beef and next 9 ingredients. Gently mix.
Shape mixture into 8 patties. Grill 5 to 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
Serve in toasted buns, topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
