Ingredients
1 | (9-ounce) package refrigerated linguine |
1 | medium yellow onion, chopped |
1 | tablespoon olive oil |
4 | cloves garlic, sliced |
1 | teaspoon all-purpose flour |
¾ | cup whipping cream |
¾ | cup half-and-half |
1 | (6-ounce) package HORMEL® Real Crumbled Bacon |
½ | cup grated Parmesan cheese |
Directions
Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, sauté onion in hot oil 5 to 7 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
In small bowl, whisk together flour, cream and half-and-half until smooth. Stir into onion mixture. Bring mixture to a boil, whisking constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.
Stir in pasta, bacon and cheese.
