1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated linguine
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
¾ cup whipping cream
¾ cup half-and-half
1 (6-ounce) package HORMEL® Real Crumbled Bacon
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.

  2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, sauté onion in hot oil 5 to 7 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

  3. In small bowl, whisk together flour, cream and half-and-half until smooth. Stir into onion mixture. Bring mixture to a boil, whisking constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.

  4. Stir in pasta, bacon and cheese.
