This salad combines fresh chopped broccoli florets, sweet red seedless grapes, and crunchy chopped celery and toasty slivered almonds, all tossed in a creamy dressing. Crumbles of HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Pecanwood bacon are a smokey surprise scattered throughout. It’s the perfect side dish for picnics, potlucks, or any occasion that calls for a refreshing salad.
Ingredients
1 | (12-ounce) package HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Pecanwood bacon |
2 | (12-ounce) packages broccoli florets, chopped |
1 | cup red seedless grapes, halved |
½ | cup chopped celery |
¼ | cup chopped green onions |
⅜ | cup mayonnaise |
2 | tablespoons apple cider vinegar |
1 | tablespoon honey |
1 | teaspoon celery seed |
¼ | teaspoon kosher salt |
½ | cup chopped toasted slivered almonds |
Directions
Cook bacon according to package directions; drain, cool and crumble.
In large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon and next 3 ingredients.
In small bowl, stir together mayonnaise and next 4 ingredients.
Pour mayonnaise mixture over broccoli mixture, tossing to combine. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with toasted almonds just before serving.
