| 2 | teaspoons paprika |
| 1 | teaspoon kosher salt |
| ½ | teaspoon onion powder |
| ½ | teaspoon garlic powder |
| ½ | teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
| 2 | carrots, peeled and coarsely chopped |
| 2 | parsnips, peeled and coarsely chopped |
| 1 | medium onion, coarsely chopped |

Directions
Rub pork with brown sugar and next 5 ingredients. Place carrots and next 5 ingredients in a 5-quart slow cooker. Place pork over vegetables, cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
