West Coast Grilled Pork Sandwich

The West Grilled Sandwich is a delightful combination of thick-cut HORMEL® Lemon Garlic Pork Loin Filet, sweet and juicy grilled pineapple, and a zesty garlic-mustard spread. This sandwich makes a satisfying lunch or dinner and can be enjoyed hot off the grill or packed up for a picnic or outdoor gathering.

1 (1.5-pound) package HORMEL® Lemon Garlic Pork Loin Filet, cut into 1/4 – inch thick slices
4 slices fresh or canned pineapple
¼ cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
¼ teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
4 sesame seed hamburger buns, split


  1. Prepare grill for direct medium heat.

  2. Place pork and pineapple on grill grate 4 to 5 inches over coals. Grill, turning occasionally, 5 to 6 minutes or until internal temperature of pork reaches 160ºF.

  3. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard and garlic; spread on cut sides of buns. Line each bun with lettuce. Top with pork and pineapple.
