This ham is fully cooked and is delicious served cold. Simply remove the ham from the wrapper, place on platter and serve.

To Heat
• Remove ham from package and discard the round, plastic bone guard.
• Place the largest cut surface of the ham face down in a large baking pan or roaster with 2-3 inch sides.
• Add 1 cup water to the pan.
• Cover pan securely with foil or tight-fitting roaster lid.
• Bake at 325º F for 15 minutes per pound or until ham is warm. If glazing ham, prepare glaze as instructed below.

FOR OPTIMUM TENDERNESS, DO NOT OVERCOOK!
The optimum serving temperature for ham is 140º F.

To Glaze
• Turn oven temperature to 425º F.
• Mix contents of glaze packet with 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of water.
• Remove ham from oven and carefully drain or spoon excess ham juices/drippings from the pan.
• Spoon the prepared glaze mixture evenly over the entire surface of the ham.
• Place ham in oven, and bake for 5-10 minutes or until glaze is set.
• Slice ham, serve and enjoy!
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always Excellent! I must admit, I always seek out a "Cure81" ham as it is dependably great tasting. I sought out and purchased one yesterday to eat and serve during the holidays. It is likely that my ravenous friends will scoff up this one in a couple of days, so I'm keeping my eye on the available stock at the grocery store. I was seeking one on the small side of those available and the butcher kept trying to get me to take a "Smithfield" or another brand which was smaller, but I insisted on the "Cure81". I'm glad I did as it is difficult to resist taking a "taste" every time I open the "frig".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tasting. Pleased all my guests. I bought this ham especially for Thanksgiving dinner and was so happy to serve it to my thankful family. It tastes great. We do this every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Nothing tastes as good as a Hormel cure 81 spiral cut ham. Thanks.

Frustrating as you have to go on-line to find. Saw instructions for heating at 275 and 325. Confusing. Keep it simple and give baseline instructions Hormel!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing! The heating directions were not clear and when I checked online I found conflicting oven temperature and per pound timing. The instructions with the glaze DID NOT specify mixing it with water--online directions did. COMPANIES SHOULD REALIZE THAT NOT EVERYONE HAS INTERNET ACCESS. When the ham was heated and ready to serve it was NOT ATTRACTIVE like most spiral hams. Fortunately I was serving family and not outside guests. I would have been embarrassed if had to put it on display for outside guests.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible instructions. Worse than a "Poor" rating Baking a 14.5 pound ham at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes per pound resulted in a temperature of 210 degrees - the ham was terribly dry. Please revise your recommendations for either baking time or temperature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointed! We bought a spiral cut ham to have today for Thanksgiving and so Disappointed in the quality when I opened to cook. Only a third if the ham was cut and the portion that was cut varied in thickness from a thin slice to almost 1/2 inch! I have to carve thus thing before I can serve it. We passed over other brands to pick yours for quality and regret it. I have a mangled product to serve for the holiday.
