HORMEL® CURE 81® Classic Boneless Ham

Holiday or every day—it’s the perfect ham for any occasion. Available in whole, half and quarter hams.

This ham is fully cooked and is delicious served cold. Simply remove the ham from the wrapper, place on platter and serve.

To Heat
• Remove ham from the package and place largest cut surface face down in a baking pan.
• Add 1/2 cup water to the pan.
• Cover pan securely with nonstick foil.
• Bake at 325º F for 20 minutes per pound or until warmed through. If glazing ham, prepare glaze as instructed below.

The optimum serving temperature for ham is 135ºF-140ºF.

To Glaze
• Turn oven temperature to 425º F.
• Mix contents of glaze packet with 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of water.
• Remove ham from oven and carefully drain or spoon excess ham juices/drippings from the pan.
• Spoon the prepared glaze mixture evenly over the entire surface of the ham.
• Place ham in oven, and heat for 5-10 minutes or until glaze is set.
• Slice ham, serve and enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Easter Ham I have this ham every year and we all love it, but I always have to bake it longer than 20 minutes per pound, because the thermometer shows that it's not ready after taking it at 20 minutes a lb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from but a problem for the first time I am famous for my ham salad, which I made this week for a funeral dinner. I have a large meat grinder and ground a half ham. I have used cure 81 for over 20 years for this recipe and never had this problem; there was a white sinue and it blocked the grinder had to stop and clean the grinder holes 4 times sure hope this never happens again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a tradition now, for the Holidays I always have some of good ole' cure 81 ham. I am having requests now to make sure I have Grandpa Greg's special Ham months ahead of time......I always cross hatch the top and use some Karo syrup / Brown sugar glaze applied several times during the warming up process, hey it's the Holidays!
