Ham Bird’s Nest are made from crispy hash brown potatoes, filled with savory HORMEL® CURE 81® Diced Ham, and topped melted Cheddar and Swiss cheeses. They are not only delicious and adorable but also fun to make.

Cooking Spray
1 (20-ounce) package refrigerated hash brown potatoes
½ cup milk
4 eggs
1 (12-ounce) package HORMEL® CURE 81® Diced Ham
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Generously grease 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray. Divide potatoes evenly between muffin cups. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until crisp golden brown. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.

  2. In bowl, beat together milk and eggs. Stir in ham and cheeses. Scoop mixture into muffin cups.

  3. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until egg is set. Cool 5 minutes before removing from muffin cups.
