INGREDIENTS


  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 (2.8-ounce) package HORMEL® Real Bacon Pieces
  • 1 ¼ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 green onion, chopped

DIRECTIONS


1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder and salt. Whisk in milk and egg until combined. Stir in bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onion.
2. Let batter stand for 10 minutes and stir again. Spray 24-cup miniature muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon batter into muffin cups, and fill each cup to the top.
3. Bake 16 to 18 minutes until puffed and golden brown on top.
4. Serve with salsa, warmed pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce for dipping, if desired.
