INGREDIENTS
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 cups
HORMEL® CURE 81® Boneless Ham
, cut into cubes
1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups water
2
HERB-OX® Beef Bouillon Cubes
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cups instant rice
1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
DIRECTIONS
1. In saucepan, sauté mushrooms, ham and sage in butter over medium heat 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Add water, bouillon and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; cover.
2. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Stir in pecans.
